At Prof. Rajendra Singh Science Exploratory (PRSSE), we believe science is more than just a subject - it's a way of life. Our mission is to inspire and educate young minds to appreciate science, and to help them explore the world around them in new and exciting ways. Established in 2015, the exploratory is designed to provide students hands-on experience in a wide range of scientific disciplines.
From Chemistry to Physics, Biology to Astronomy and Mathematics to Design Thinking, we offer a variety of Programmes and activities for the students of 6th Std. to 9th Std. Our experienced and dedicated team of advisors and experts across the country is committed to providing an engaging learning environment to students. The Laboratory Training Program offers students practical experience in various scientific disciplines, including Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics, through hands-on experiments conducted in state-of-the-art laboratories. Students visit once a week for two hours for this year-long programme.
Key features of the Laboratory Training Program
- Hands-on experiments in various scientific fields
- Around 35 sessions throughout the academic year.
- Exposure to national/international competitions.
- Outreach programmes, including exhibitions, sky watching and guest talks.
A total of 400 students will be selected from various schools of the city through entrance exams scheduled in April for the year-long training program.
Students currently in 5th, 6th, and 7th grades in Nagpur are eligible to register for the Entrance Exam.
The Entrance Exam fee is ₹50, which can be paid online via UPI.

Yes, interested students and parents can visit the exploratory during office hours on Saturdays (5 p.m. to 6 p.m.) and Sundays (10 a.m. to 1 p.m.).
Some of the competitions like Dr. Homi Bhabha Balvaidyanik Competition, Vidyathi Vigyaan Manthan (VVM), Science Olympiads, Inspire Manak Awards, National Science Exhibitions (CBSE) etc.
Admission Open
Admission to Prof. Rajendra Singh Exploratory is open to all students who have an interest in science. Admissions are fixed in the month of June-July for one year academic session till April.
