Who can participate?
Students of 5th, 6th, and 7th Grade Students of Nagpur City!
We invite motivated and curious students from 5th,6th and 7th grade in Nagpur to register for the Entrance Examination for our year-long Laboratory Training Programme at the Professor Rajendra Singh Science Exploratory who can join us for the next session commencing in July 2025 in 6th,7th and 8th Std. batches. Join us to unlock your potential and develop scientific skills in our state-of-the-art laboratories! Students will undergo a skill assessment for selection, and a comprehensive merit list will be compiled. 400 students will be selected for this year-long training. Hands-On Learning: The Educational Approach at PRSSE
At the Professor Rajendra Singh Science Exploratory (PRSSE), we believe that science is more than just a subject—it's a way of life. Our mission is to inspire and educate young minds to appreciate science and explore the world in exciting ways. Established in 2015, PRSSE provides hands-on experience across various scientific disciplines, including Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Astronomy, Mathematics, and Design Thinking. Unlike traditional experiments, which often focus on predefined outcomes, our exploratory approach encourages students to think critically, ask questions, and engage in open-ended investigations. This fosters a deeper understanding of scientific concepts and cultivates a spirit of inquiry. Our dedicated team of trainers, advisors and experts is committed to creating an engaging learning environment for all students. Whether you're a budding scientist or simply curious, we have something for everyone! Over the years, students enrolled in various programs offered by the exploratory have achieved significant success in embracing science, paving the way for their future aspirations.

About the Laboratory Training Programme
Our Laboratory Training Programme offers valuable hands-on experience in scientific exploration and experimentation. Each week, students will engage in experiments in our cutting-edge laboratory facilities for 2 hours at PRSSE. Participants will explore various fields, including Biology, Chemistry, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, and DIY activities.
Batch Selection:
Students can choose their preferred batch slot based on the merit list of our entrance exam on a first come first serve basis.
Sessions:
Throughout the academic year, students can attend around 35 sessions, completing over 40 activities/tasks/and experiments including some mini projects.
Outreach Programmes:
Students will benefit from various outreach initiatives, such as exhibitions, guest talks, interactions with visiting scientists and educators, science shows, quizzes, sky watching, webinars and more.
Highlights of the Laboratory Training Programme:
- Development of practical skills and knowledge in conducting experiments
- Training in data analysis and problem-solving
- Exposure to various national/international competitions in science and technology (e.g., Vidyarthi Vigyaan Manthan, Homi Bhabha Balvaidnyanik Competition, Science Olympiads)
- Exposure to telescope handling sessions during astronomical events.
- Exposure to National/International platforms to represent innovation.

- Quota System: For each participating school so that we can cover each section of the society

- Annual Fees: ₹6000 (50% concession can be made available for students from economically weaker sections)
- Batch Size: 18 students per batch
